Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana and a 1967 graduate of Indiana University School of
Law, Jon F. Schmoll is admitted to practice in Indiana, the U.S. District Court,
Northern District of Indiana, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit, and
the U.S. Supreme Court.
His memberships include Indiana State Bar Association (Chairman Trial Lawyers
Section, 1989), and American Bar Association; American Board of Trial Advocates,
where he served as President of the Indiana Chapter in 1997 and has been a
National Director since 2000. He is also a Fellow of the American College of
Trial Lawyers.
Mr. Schmoll is also a member of the Merit Selection Panel for the Reappointment
of Magistrate Judges, Northern District of Indiana and a member of the Rules
Committee for the United States District Court for the Northern District of
Indiana and was a member of the Board of Visitors at the Indiana University
School of Law - Indianapolis from 1994 to 2005.
