Biography

Why Robert Langer Became an Attorney

From an early age, I came to understand that there are moments in life when people are unable to protect themselves and need a strong advocate to step forward, someone who not only offers help but actively works to move a situation toward justice. Those early lessons shaped the foundation of who I am and why I chose to pursue a career in law.

Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the power of advocacy through my father, Steve Langer. His unwavering belief, guidance, and determination demonstrated how effective representation can change the course of a person’s life. Seeing the difference that persistence, creativity, and conviction could make inspired me to follow a similar path and commit myself to helping others navigate challenging circumstances.

Motivated by these experiences, I developed a deep commitment to standing up for individuals and families during times when they feel overwhelmed or unheard. That commitment ultimately led me to pursue a career focused on protecting the rights of those who need it most.

Today, as an attorney, I represent patients and their loved ones who have suffered harm due to medical malpractice. I also advocate for individuals injured in serious car and truck accidents, working tirelessly to ensure accountability and fair outcomes. In every case, I strive to bring empathy, determination, and strong advocacy to the people who place their trust in me.

Not Only Winning for My Clients

Beyond the courtroom, I draw important perspective and discipline from my involvement in the demanding world of triathlon racing. This sport, combining swimming, cycling, and running, requires perseverance, adaptability, and mental focus, qualities that closely mirror the challenges faced in complex litigation.

Training and competing provide a meaningful outlet that strengthens both mind and body. Each race reinforces the value of preparation, resilience, and the ability to push forward even when conditions are difficult. The camaraderie and mutual respect within the triathlon community further reinforce the importance of commitment and integrity.

These principles carry directly into my legal practice. Having represented Team USA in the Triathlon Age Group World Championships and consistently ranked among the top competitors in my age group nationally, I bring the same relentless focus and determination to my work on behalf of clients, always committed to seeing each case through with care, persistence, and purpose.
