Indianapolis, IN (September 20, 2026) – A person died Sunday afternoon after a motorcycle and a pickup truck crashed on the city’s southeast side, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
IMPD officers responded at 2:13 p.m. to the 6600 block of South Arlington Avenue, a wooded stretch of large-lot homes between the roundabout at Shelbyville Road and the intersection with East Southport Road.
Police said the person died at the scene. Authorities have not released the name, gender, or age of the person who died.
According to IMPD investigators, the driver of the other vehicle stayed at the scene and spoke with officers. Crash investigators were still working on September 20 to determine why the crash happened.

Fatal Motorcycle Accidents in Indiana
