Dearborn County, Indiana (September 22, 2026) – One person is dead after a two-vehicle crash involving a truck closed a stretch of Indiana 350 west of Aurora just after 6 a.m., according to Indiana State Police.
The crash happened in the Moores Hill area near Mt Sinai Road, Dearborn County dispatchers say. Indiana State Police Sgt. Stephen Wheeles said the road remains closed while a traffic reconstructionist responds to the scene.
An Air Care medical helicopter was requested but was unable to respond because of fog, according to Dearborn County dispatchers. Deputies with the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office are assisting Indiana State Police, along with fire crews from Aurora and Hogan Township.
