Car Accidents in Indiana
Intersections like State Road 75 and State Road 47 are frequent sites for high-velocity collisions, often resulting in catastrophic injuries. Under Indiana law, determining liability in a two-vehicle crash requires a thorough examination of right-of-way protocols, potential distracted driving, and mechanical failures. When the Fatal Alcohol Crash Team is involved, the investigation becomes significantly more technical, often involving forensic data from vehicle electronic control modules and toxicology reports.
Victims of serious car accidents in Indiana may be entitled to recover damages for medical expenses, lost wages, and long-term rehabilitation costs. Because Indiana follows a “modified comparative negligence” rule, it is vital to have a professional investigation into the crash early on. Securing an official police report and preserving physical evidence are critical steps in ensuring that the rights of the injured are protected against insurance companies seeking to limit their liability.
