Head-On Crashes and Commercial Vehicle Liability in Indiana
Head-on collisions are among the most serious types of crashes and frequently result in catastrophic injuries or fatalities. When a company vehicle is involved, liability may extend beyond the individual driver. Investigations can include review of driver training, employer safety policies, vehicle maintenance records, and compliance with state and federal transportation regulations.
Indiana law allows injured victims to pursue compensation for medical expenses, lost income, and other damages. In fatal crashes, certain surviving family members may have the right to file a wrongful death claim. However, strict statutory deadlines apply, and failure to act in time can permanently bar recovery.
Because evidence such as vehicle data, dash camera footage, and employment records can be critical, prompt legal evaluation is important.
If your family has been affected by a serious crash in Elkhart County or elsewhere in Indiana, experienced legal representation by Indiana injury attorneys can help protect your rights and pursue the compensation available under state law.
